Ryan Edwards’ wife is facing criticism after Teen Mom episode

Ryan Edwards got married to Mackenzie Standifer while filming Teen Mom OG, but it sounds like fans are having a hard time connecting with her, as she continues to bash Ryan’s ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout.

Ryan Edwards has been on Teen Mom OG for years and when he was dating Maci Bookout, he wasn’t around to help her with Bentley. The two eventually split, but Ryan enjoyed being Bentley’s father as he became older. While Ryan was never motivated in their relationship, it sounds like he managed to win Mackenzie Standifer’s heart. Throughout the years on Teen Mom OG, Edwards hasn’t expressed any interest in getting married and having more kids, but after meeting Mackenzie, he has gotten married and is expecting a child.
While Ryan Edwards could use some time to mature and get back on track after admitting to a drug addiction, it sounds like getting married and expecting a child isn’t the way to go. Fans of Teen Mom OG have become very vocal about the way Mackenzie is acting on the show. Some people have called her a liar and a manipulator. On Twitter, Edwards’ wife faced several harsh comments from viewers, who felt she was using Ryan to get what she wanted.

It was bad enough she married him, now Mac wants to procreate with a "recovered" drug addict. He hasn't recovered from being a deadbeat. Can someone lend her some brain cells #TeenMomOG

After Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG, the hatred and dislike for Mackenzie appeared to hit a peak. It was during this episode that she announced that she was pregnant with a child after she and Ryan had planned to get pregnant. While her friend appeared happy for her, Ryan made the comment that he would want to help after the child turned three years old.

But it isn’t so much that Mackenzie is pregnant that has fans angry. There’s a sense of loyalty to Maci Bookout, as she’s one of the main stars of Teen Mom OG. Mackenzie has previously said that she felt that Maci was encouraging Ryan’s drug use, putting the blame on Bookout. This didn’t sit well with Teen Mom OG fans, who wanted to give her a chance.
