By the angel, Shadowhunters season 3, episode 4 was full of manipulation, heartbreak and secrets, leaving more questions than answers about the fate of our favorite characters and relationships. On next week’s episode, “Stronger Than Heaven,” Alec will be looking to move into Magnus’ loft, Lilith will send a demon on a mission to get a piece of Clary’s soul, and Jace and Simon will have some bro-time at Hunter’s Moon (possibly talking about Kyle?).
But we still have a few burning questions about the fate of our favorite Shadowhunters and Downworlders!
5) What is Heidi’s ultimate plan once she gets to Simon?
If we learned anything from Heidi (Tessa Mossey) in Shadowhunters season 3, episode 4, it’s that she’s not to be underestimated. Despite only being a vampire for a short period of time (and for most of which she was drugged and experimented on), she managed to out-smart Raphael and strategically plan out his murder.
When we first met Heidi, she made it clear that she was determined to get to her sire, and based on her heightened vamp traits, we know her sire is Simon Lewis. She stalked out Simon’s old boathouse room and was obsessed with his things, even though they haven’t seen each other since that night at the bleeder den.
After leaving Raphael for dead on the roof at sunrise, she couldn’t witness him burn alive herself because unlike her sire, she is not a Daylighter. So where did she go? She’s obviously determined to get to Simon and could very well find him around the city, at Hunter’s Moon or at his new apartment with Kyle, but what will Heidi want from Simon once they do meet?
Heidi’s love for Simon is definitely more like an unhealthy obsession, and even if she does try to hurt him, at least the Mark of Cain will keep him safe, right?
