Amber Portwood revealed that she’s proud of her journey, including her time in jail because it means that she’s sober and can be a good mother.

More from Teen Mom

Amber Portwood has fought for her life and her daughter for years, as she has been open about her struggles with pills, depression, and anger. Throughout the years, Teen Mom OG viewers have seen her try to convince her fans that she’s ready for more responsibility, but Gary Shirley keeps turning her down. Even though Gary can’t let go of Leah and let her spend more time with her mother, it sounds like Amber is proud of everything she’s been through.

During Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood revealed that she was proud of her decision to choose jail time over rehab because it helped her get sober. She also explained that it helped her become the person she is today.

While Teen Mom OG viewers may have different opinions, it’s important that Amber feels good about herself and the life she’s created. She’s due to give birth to her son next month, and she wants to prove that she’s ready to take on more responsibility with her daughter Leah.
