Ryan Edwards claims he can’t get sober due to Teen Mom fame

Ryan Edwards has revealed that he isn’t sober, but it sounds like he has a good excuse. He’s simply too famous to get clean and he’s risking everything.
Ryan Edwards wasn’t sober on the previous season of Teen Mom OG when he drove under the influence. MTV was criticized for not stepping in and doing something, especially since he was falling asleep at the vehicle, putting himself and other people in danger. The network has been criticized for encouraging his drug use by filming him and paying him for his participation in the show.
Despite going to treatment last year while filming Teen Mom OG, many people that he isn’t sober. He’s still slurring his words and he’s easily irritated. On the season finale, Maci Bookout revealed that mutual friends told her that Ryan wasn’t sober and she should continue to keep her rules in place in regards to Bentley.

Many fans are convinced that Ryan is far from sober and becoming a father now is probably the worst thing he could do. He’s nowhere near a right mindset to become a father. In addition, he’s not being a supportive spouse.

Tonight on MTV, the reunion special starts and Ryan is confronted by Dr. Drew. He talks about his responsibility to stay sober, but Ryan claims that no therapist will take him on because of the show. In other words, it sounds like a poor excuse for him not to get sober. It will be interesting to see if Maci Bookout will hold him accountable and talk about how he may have been under the influence while filming the show.
