The Originals Season 5: Is Klaroline ever going to happen?
After four seasons of fans asking, Caroline and Klaus finally shared real screen time on The Originals Season 5. Now we want to know if Klaroline is ever going to happen.
Klaroline is a ship that divides The Vampire Diaries and The Originals fans. While there are many of us in the “yes” corner, there are many others in the “no” corner. There may not be anyone in the middle–nobody I’ve ever met, anyway. For those who want Klaroline to happen (that’s the Klaus/Caroline ship, just in case you didn’t know–but you probably did) The Originals Season 5 looked like the chance for it to happen.
We’ve literally been asking for this from the very beginning of The Vampire Diaries spin-off. Ever since Klaus made it very clear that he intended to be Caroline’s last love, there’s been that potential foreshadow that it will happen before both shows end.

Candice King reprised her role as Caroline Forbes in The Originals Season 5 premiere. After years of hoping, asking, and getting crossovers that we just didn’t need, we finally got to see Klaroline together. One thing Caroline has always done is state the truth to Klaus. She doesn’t let him get away with his evil, selfish ways, and that was her role in the premiere.

However, that’s not to say her only relationship with the Original Vampire will remain like that. King has three more appearances left in the fifth and final season. There’s hope that in the very end, we’ll get to see the two together. Don’t rule this ship out just yet and remember there’s a planned witchy spin-off. Even just a mention the two are together in that will let us know Klaroline finally officially happens.
