The Fosters gets finale date, plus name for spin-off

The Freeform show The Fosters is coming to an end and now it has been revealed when the finale will air and also a few details about their new spin-off.

When the news came out that The Fosters was being canceled, a lot of people were not happy, including me. Luckily, they are going to tie it all up with a big finale that will be three episodes long and then a spin-off is also coming. TV Line shared the details about what has been revealed so far. This show started out on ABC Family, which later changed their name to Freeform.

The finale for The Fosters is going to last three nights. In the past, shows haven’t known they were ending and fans don’t get the answers that they want, so this three-night finale should be able to tie up loose ends and give the fans what they want to see.

The new spin-off was revealed a while ago. It will be called Good Trouble and it focuses on Callie and Mariana. These two will be heading off to Los Angeles together to start their lives as adults. It is possible that a few other cast members may show up from time to time. It sounds like these two are going to get into some “good trouble” together and on their own.  Jon M. Chu will direct and executive produce the first episode of Good Trouble.

This finale for The Fosters will start airing on Monday, June 4 at 8/7c. There is another episode on June 5 and then a supersized episode on June 6 that will bring this show to an end. It could be a bit before Good Trouble starts airing because it sounds like they are in the early stages.
