About the Role: Tom Cruise stars as Les Grossman. Cruise didn’t simply crush the role, he helped create it, according to an article from Cinemablend. The actor requested that his character have fat hands and you can also thank him for Grossman’s dance moves. Not only that, but when Ben Stiller asked Cruise to check out the script to the movie, the character Les Grossman did not exist. The character was born from Cruise’s suggestion.

Simply the Best: Critics either love or hate comedies, but with an 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the love for Tropic Thunder is obvious. The entire cast is simply having the time of their lives. A movie has and will always work best when the crew gets along and genuinely enjoy working together. In addition, a cast like Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jay Baruchel, just to name a few, who wouldn’t enjoy it? We had to include Tropic Thunder on this list for being one of the funniest comedies even today.
