Big Brother’s new cast enters BB20 house in less than a month

The first episode of Big Brother 20 premieres on June 27. Before that, though, the BB20 cast will have already been in the house for a while.
Big Brother’s new cast is only a month from making its debut on CBS. It’s not the first day of the game, though, as there is a lot that takes place beforehand. Included in that timeline are the announcement of the BB20 cast and the sequester by the production team.
The sequester period is when the new cast is placed in a hotel away from the prying eyes of the public. The new Big Brother cast is not allowed to access social media or the news. This is also when rules and policies are explained to the houseguests, all leading up to their entry into the game.

When does BB20 cast enter the house?
In a typical season, the new Big Brother cast enters the house the weekend before the season premiere. If production sticks to that schedule, the BB20 cast will enter the house on Friday (June 22) or Saturday (June 23). This is done so that filming can begin early and that production has enough footage for the first few episodes. As the season premiere is two hours long, a lot of footage is needed to put the first episode together.
When are Big Brother live feeds turned on?
An unfortunate piece of information for live feed subscribers is that they will miss the first few days. The live feeds are turned on after the season premiere ends on the West Coast at 11 p.m. PT / 2 a.m. ET.

As previously reported by Inside the BB House, the Big Brother 20 schedule was released. Episode 1 debuts on June 27, Episode 2 is on June 28, and Episode 3 is on July 1. The familiar schedule of Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays returns for summer 2018. A slight shift takes place on Wednesday nights, as episodes will air on CBS at 8 p.m. PT/ET.
Where is CBS at with the BB20 cast?
The semifinalists for the new cast have already been notified. This takes the production team very close to an official announcement. While there is still some work left to do, it appears that they are very close to having a group of new houseguests. From there, the official countdown begins until the big reveal, likely to take place on The Talk. Host Julie Chen will also likely drop a large number of hints on her personal Twitter account.
