Big Brother 20: Is Haleigh Broucher related to BB19’s Raven Walton?

Given Haleigh Broucher’s likeness to Big Brother 19’s Raven Walton, is it possible Big Brother is welcoming yet another alum’s relative to its ranks?

When the Big Brother Season 20 cast was revealed, I’ll admit that, like many long-time viewers, I had to do a double take when viewing the first cast photo of Houseguest Haleigh Broucher, due to her eerie likeness to Season 19 houseguest Raven Walton.

Knowing how Big Brother‘s powers that be love to welcome the relatives of former houseguests into the fold, I was immediately intrigued by whether Haleigh was perhaps related to Raven and wanted to know more about Haleigh… and her possible ties to Raven.

In reading through her cast bio and later watching her interview with Celebrity Big Brother alum (and soon to be a host of CBS’ new digital companion series Off the Block with Ross and Marissa) Ross Mathews, there was absolutely no mention of any connection to any past Houseguest – Raven included.

BB20 casting surprise?

Could CBS be holding back on us and waiting to reveal a connection between Haleigh and Raven during the opening hour(s) of the new season? Perhaps, though there seems to be absolutely no indication that Haleigh and Raven are in any way related; however, that doesn’t mean Haleigh’s fellow houseguests won’t pick on her similarities to Raven and begin stirring the pot.

While there are no indications that Big Brother will be welcoming yet another former houseguest’s relative into the house this summer, Season 20’s Haleigh Broucher’s likeness to Season 19’s Raven Walton has already managed to get fans talking and chances are it won’t take long for conspiracy theories to develop within the house – after all, houseguests love a good conspiracy theory!

As fans know, houseguests often drum up false conspiracies about their fellow houseguests and, more often than not, these conspiracies can include possible connections to Big Brother alums.

What will be interesting to see, is how quickly rumors begin to swirl about a possible connection between Haleigh and Raven, and whether any conspiracies will make Haleigh an early (and easy) target for eviction in Week 1.
