Has Juliette really broken free on Nashville?
In a storyline mostly focused on Juliette on Nashville, it looked like she managed to break free of the cult. Just how long will that last?
With the help of a friend, Juliette managed to get out of the cult in Nashville Season 6, Episode 11. Titled “No Place That Far,” Juliette grabbed her passport and ran after realizing that the organization had no intention of helping “volunteers” grow. As her friend called for help to protect herself (with Juliette’s knowledge), Juliette hitched a ride from a passerby.
Now the big question is whether Juliette will actually be able to get out. Maybe I’ve watched way too many thrillers and mysteries, but jumping into a stranger’s car when you’re running from a cult is not a good idea. You have no idea who you can and can’t trust. While this guy looked like just a local man on his way home from what would likely be work, he could have been working for the cult; another “volunteer” sent out to apprehend the escapee.
Even if this man is an unsuspecting member of the public, there’s a chance that Juliette will be caught by the cult again at the airport. They’ll know exactly where she is heading, so instead of trying to stop her on the way to the airport, someone could wait for her there. Or they may have members within the airport, helping to reduce the number of escapees.

Of course, there are high chances that Juliette has definitely made her way out. But will she be able to stay away? This is a woman who knows almost everything that is going on in there. Fortunately, she stole her whole file, which shows the amount of information that was collected on her, but it might not be enough to apprehend the cult leader. It would be Juliette’s word against his, as there are plenty of others there willing to stand up for Darius–this is a cult and many will be brainwashed with others finding their children threatened to make them fall in line.

It’s also not clear whether Juliette believes Darius knows everything that is happening. She was dealing with his management team. While she’s not naive, does she believe that it’s the management at fault? Surely the locked filing cabinet and information on everyone is enough for her to know that isn’t the case.
I do write this with someone who doesn’t trust anybody when it comes to TV shows. Nashville isn’t quite on par with some of the thriller and mystery shows that I do watch, but I’d rather have had Juliette at the airport and on the way home to know that she was definitely out of this cult’s grasp.
