Cooper’s Treasure exclusive clip: Darrell Miklos ventures to the Bahamas
Cooper’s Treasure is back tonight and it’s time for Darrel Miklos to venture into the Bahamas in the Season 2 premiere. Check out this exclusive clip of the exciting things to come.
Cooper’s Treasure returns to the Discovery Channel tonight. Darrel Miklos ventures into the Bahamas in the premiere, in search for the 11 wreck sites Nasa astronaut Gordon Cooper plotted in the 1960s. He’ll have a treasure map made from space, cutting-edge technology, experts, and new clues to uncover the wrecks and any of the treasures that are hidden deep within the ocean. This will be the biggest expedition yet and, hopefully, it will bring in all the rewards.
Miklos shares the story of Cooper’s findings in this exclusive clip for the Cooper’s Treasure Season 2 premiere. He delves into and shows the map that Cooper made from space, with all the detailed findings and locations. This is a chance for us to see everything explorers have worked with in the past, but Miklos has the advantage of cutting-edge technology and newer findings. Cooper’s findings were just the start of the journey and Miklos wants to finish it off.

One of the items that you’ll get to see in the exclusive clip is the magnetometer This is a device that tests for metals in the earth and can be used in water. No matter how small, any treasure in the seabed will be picked up by this device in the hope that the precious items will be found. Of course, this will pick up all metal, including rusty nails, so there’s a chance of disappointment before the big finds.
The good news is the device is to find the metal-based shipwreck material, so finding rusty nails could be a good thing. Once the shipwreck material is found, Miklos and his team will know where the wrecks are to delve deeper for the treasure. Baby steps here, people!
