Critical Acclaim: This movie did amazing with both critics and fans, scoring an 80% Fresh score at Rotten Tomatoes (84% with audiences). It rocked the award shows. Some of its wins include Best Motion Picture — Drama, Best Director, and Best Actor — Drama, at the Golden Globes. Its honors didn’t stop there, at the Academy Awards, The Revenant received 12 nominations, these include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. The movie also won the most awards at the 69th British Academy Film Awards.
