Pose season 1 finale advanced preview

The finale for FX’s hit series Pose is this Sunday! What can you expect? We’ve got your advanced preview below…

Last week, episode 7, “Pink Slip,” started off on a happy note! Stan (Evan Peters) and Angel (Indya Moore) were happy, Blanca’s (MJ Rodriguez) house was thriving, smiles all around! But as the episode came to a close, it rained on everyone’s parade. Will moods pick up in the season finale, episode 8, titled “Mother of the Year”? We’ve watched (and love) the finale and are here to tease!
From FX, the synopsis for “Mother of the Year” is: The ultimate showdown takes place at the Princess Ball, when the House of Evangelista battles against the House of Ferocity and Mother of the Year is decided.
If Evan Peters’ character Stan is giving you whiplash with his poor decision making, don’t get your hopes up for him in the finale! Stan is unpredictable, but he means well. Still, he has to stop playing with Angel’s feelings, even if he has good intentions.

Speaking of meaning well, Blanca reaches out to Elektra (Dominique Jackson). Elektra is too proud to ever ask for help, but Blanca has never been one to give up on family. The two share a sweet moment as Blanca drills through Elektra’s tough exterior. Will Elektra display her kind side? You may give up on Stan, but have hope for Elektra!
We won’t spoil what happens with Elektra, but we can tell you that one of the best scenes in the season finale is all Elektra! The Queen will be giving a speech that’ll have viewers cheering her on!
