The 5 best trailers from SDCC 2018

San Diego Comic-Con did not fail to deliver this year. It brought fans teasers, trailers, and the latest scoop on their favorite television show and movies!

Weren’t able to attend SDCC? Plenty of sites, including ours, and Twitter, kept fans updated with the latest! From never-before-seen photos, trailers, and casting announcements, the biggest Comic-Con of the year has it all.

There was a lot fans were anticipating to learn this year. For starters, fans of The Walking Dead always depend on SDCC to catch the first full-length trailer for the upcoming season. And this year was a very special one, with the departure of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Lauren Cohan stepping back as Maggie. And in the world of the DC Universe, fans waited patiently for the Aquaman trailer reveal.

#5 Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

The Harry Potter fandom is huge! After almost two years, fans couldn’t wait to see the trailer of the next Fantastic Beasts chapter! The Crimes of Grindelwald is in theaters November 16, 2018.

#4 Shazam

Warner Bros. revealed the first trailer for Shazam!, a live action movie of the popular DC Comics hero. Both fans and critics didn’t have high hopes for this one, but the trailer surprised us all! You’ll have to wait a little longer for this one, though. The movie is in theaters April 5, 2019.

#3 Aquaman

In the DC Universal, only Wonder Woman has been critically acclaimed and loved by all fans. But Gal Gadot can’t carry a series alone, will Aquaman step in to help? If the trailer for Aquaman is any indication, it likely will! Aquaman is in theaters December 21, 2018.

#2 Glass

It’s no secret M. Night Shyamalan has had his ups and downs. In fact, he’s known for it. But this trilogy is one of his good ones and fans couldn’t wait to check out the trailer to the final chapter in the trilogy, Glass. The film will see the return of actors from the first two movies, Unbreakable and Split. Some of these include Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, and Bruce Willis. Glass is in theaters January 18, 2019.

Much like M. Night Shyamalan, AMC’s The Walking Dead has also been a roller coaster of success and failures. However, lately, the series has been disappointing fans more often than not. Chandler Riggs’ Carl Grimes was killed off, Lauren Cohan’s future in the series is uncertain, and Andrew Lincoln, the show’s biggest star is leaving. The latter being the biggest letdown. But after checking out the trailer, we have to say, it doesn’t look half bad! Count us in!

The Walking Dead Season 9 premieres on Sunday, October 7, only on AMC.
