This time last year we were gearing up for the September release of It. Now, as It: Chapter Two is currently in production, we finally got a glimpse of the Losers’ Club all grown up.

Andy Muschietti’s It was easily one of the best horror films of 2016. We are still more than a year out before the highly-anticipated sequel hits theaters. As production is now underway, more details regarding It: Chapter Two are starting to drop. As fans hang on every tidbit and photo from the set, it’s getting easier to speculate on what the sequel will bring.

The cast will certainly be a highlight for any bit of news coming out of production. Ever since the release of the first installment, fans and even the cast took guesses on who will portray the adult versions of the Losers’ Club. Thos familiar with the Stephen King novel will know that the book is split into two parts nearly three decades apart. That would make the characters well into adulthood in the second installment.

Muschietti is following the path of the novel and TV adaptation in jumping 27 years for Chapter Two. After defeating Pennywise, the Losers’ Club perform a blood oath vowing to return to Derry 27 years later to defeat the shape-shifter once and for all. It: Chapter Two picks up when the Losers, now adults, are called back to their hometown. This time around, the evil entity is stronger and hungry for revenge. Thanks to Twitter, fans were given their first look at a reunion between the Losers’ Club.

The photo includes actors Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), and James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak). That leaves out the character of Stanley Uris, played by Andy Bean. Those familiar with the novel might know why he is left out from the photo but it’s unclear how closely Muschietti will follow the story arc. Stanley might be the reason why the Losers are called back to Derry.

While not on set, the new cast has been seen hanging out throughout Toronto. Filming is expected to wrap up in late October so they will surely be spotted for the next few months. Cast members such as Chastain has been posting some of the fun on her social media accounts.

Fans of the first film will be happy to know that the kids are also back to portray the younger versions of the characters. Whether it is flashbacks or bridging the gap after the summer of 1989, they will be involved in some capacity. Most importantly, Bill Skarsgård will once again be portraying Pennywise the Dancing Clown since he did so well with the character the first time around.
