Big Brother 20: How does Bayleigh Dayton power app work?

Big Brother 20 still has two power apps in play. The BB App Store rewarded Bayleigh Dayton and Tyler Crispen for becoming top-trending houseguests in July. Neither power has been used yet.

Bayleigh Dayton still has a power app in her back pocket. Even though she told the wrong person about her secret power, it’s still a huge advantage to have in the game. It’s one of the three powers that were handed out to top-trending houseguests. Sam Bledsoe chose the Bonus Life, Tyler Crispin picked the Cloud, and Bayleigh took Identity Theft. Sam’s power didn’t get used, so it automatically went to Kaitlyn Herman during the July 26 Big Brother 20 episode.

How does Identity Theft power work?

With the Identity Theft power, Bayleigh can steal the nominations of a future Head of Household. This could have led to a really exciting episode, especially if the HOH didn’t know about Bayleigh’s power. Now it will be far less surprising, but she can still steal the nominees. What happens, is that she will tell production who she plans to nominate, and those are the faces that will appear on the screen during the Nomination Ceremony.

Big Brother 20 cast already has an anti-Bayleigh plan

Now that the Level Six alliance knows about Bayleigh’s top-trending power, they can plan on how to evict her from the BB20 house. Unfortunately for Bayleigh, her power does not protect her from getting backdoored. It means that even if she changes the nominees to houseguests she wants on the block, she will still need to find a way to win the Power of Veto or risk going to the jury house.

Bayleigh Dayton is in a very difficult position moving forward, but at least she still has one of the powers. It means she can still shake things up, even if there is a risk that someone could backdoor her soon. What she has to do is make sure that the next Head of Household comes from her alliance and that he isn’t named Tyler Crispen. Otherwise, her stay in the Big Brother 20 game could be short and her next residence could be the BB20 jury house.
