By the angel, the #SaveShadowhunters fundraiser for The Trevor Project crossed the $20,000 mark!

It’s been an exceptionally emotional week for Shadowhunters fans as the cast and crew in Toronto shoot the last two episodes of season 3B. Sentimental photos from set and goodbye messages (and an Edom dance party) have started popping up on social media. We’re already in our feels, and we have a hunch this week’s posts are going to be even more emotional as more members of the cast and crew say goodbye.

Fans should be incredibly proud of the global efforts made over the past two months to support #SaveShadowhunters, which now feels more like a movement than a campaign. The fandom’s fundraiser for The Trevor Project crossed the $20,000 mark on Monday morning, and the donations continue to grow in honor of the series.

Most of the contributions are accompanied by heartfelt, inspirational messages of what the show’s importance and significance have personally meant to them. Members of the cast and crew, along with a few people from the creative team, have also made donations over the past several weeks. Even more cast members have spoken out about their gratitude and respect for what the fandom has accomplished in the name of the show for The Trevor Project.

Shadowhunters fans send love to Toronto

After having successfully executed #SaveShadowhunters projects in New York, Los Angeles, Seoul, London, and San Diego, fans have now organized to bring a “One Love” digital billboard to Toronto (inspired by Harry Shum Jr.), where the show is currently in production for ShadowhuntersThe Final Hunt.

Shadowhunters fans show no signs of slowing down the fight to get a full fourth season for the series, and they continue to show love for the Toronto team during the last (known) days of production.
