Big Brother 20: Sam Bledsoe has a medical emergency in house

Big Brother 20 cast member Sam Bledsoe suffered an allergic reaction and had a medical emergency Friday night (August 17) in the house.

Sam Bledsoe had a stressful few moments Friday night in the BB20 house. While eating tuna and hemp seeds, Sam suffered an allergic reaction and went through what was described as a medical emergency. Her lips swelled up and Sam had to receive medical treatment from a doctor in the Diary Room. The great news is that Sam is now back in the game, eligible to continue playing and working toward possibly becoming the Big Brother 20 winner this summer.

What exactly happened with Sam Bledsoe?

While the information about the medical emergency was leaked on social media, the exact treatment that Sam needed remains unclear. What is known, at this time, is that Sam was medically cleared to re-enter the BB20 house. In roughly one hour, she had already returned from the Diary room to a concerned group of houseguests.

Not Sam’s first problems on Big Brother 20

As previously reported by Inside the BB House, Sam Bledsoe also had a meltdown in the Diary Room earlier this summer. It required a physician to check in on her, but eventually, Sam was able to return to the house. There are also a few Big Brother 20 rumors out there which state Sam actually tried to leave the set when she had to vote against Bayleigh Dayton in an Eviction Ceremony.

Faced to choose between Rockstar and Bayleigh, Sam had reportedly asked to simply not vote that week. When her idea was turned down, she allegedly tried to leave the set through a side door. Producers seem to have their hands full keeping Sam in the BB20 house this summer, which raises a lot of questions about whether she should actually be playing the game. It’s not hard to imagine that when she figures out Tyler Crispen has been lying to her all summer, that things could get even worse.

It should be interesting to see if the producers use the Sam Bledsoe medical emergency as part of a future episode of the show. The next Big Brother 20 episode falls on Sunday night (August 19), when CBS viewers find out who won the HOH Competition and who got nominated for eviction.
