About the Season

"Photo Credit: The Flash: The Complete Fourth Season/Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Image Acquired from Warner Bros. PR“In Season Four, the mission of Barry Allen, aka The Flash, is once more to protect Central City from metahuman threats. First, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force. With Barry trapped, the job of protecting Central City falls to his family – Detective Joe West; his fiancée, Iris West; and Wally West/Kid Flash – and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs – Dr. Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Cisco Ramon/Vibe and brilliant scientist Harrison Wells,” Warner Bros. Home Entertainment teases of its latest release.“When a powerful villain threatens to level the city if The Flash doesn’t appear, Cisco risks everything to break Barry out of the Speed Force. But this is only the first move of a life-or-death chess game with Clifford DeVoe aka The Thinker, a mastermind who’s always ten steps ahead of Barry, no matter how fast he’s running.  Shocking surprises come fast and furious in all 23 action-packed adventures featuring The Fastest Man Alive.”"

Final Thoughts – Why It’s Worth Buying!

As a fan and consumer, the driving decision behind my personal decision to purchase the latest season set of my favorite shows typically comes down to the collection’s special features – after all, I already have seen the episodes and have the ability to re-watch them via streaming services such as Netflix.

In looking at a DVD and Blu-ray release, I’m looking for never-before-seen features which provide me with new material to enjoy; features I’ll only find via the series’ home video release. Typically, this entails look for a release to feature items such as deleted scenes and special bonus featurettes including gag reels, comic-con panels and behind-the-scenes features.

So how does The Flash Season 4 Blu-ray measure up with this all in mind?

Like most Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases, The Flash Season 4 Blu-ray collection packs a powerful punch with an array of exclusive bonus features fans are sure to appreciate.

In addition to featuring a handful of deleted scenes from various episodes and the features fans have come to expect from most releases (i.e. the gag reel and Comic-Con panel content), The Flash Season 4 Blu-ray collection delivers fans a variety of special features which delve into various aspects of the season with a heavy focus on the season’s new and key players. But Warner Bros. doesn’t stop there.

As a special treat to fans, the collection also features all four hours of the Crisis on Earth-X crossover event and a bonus feature dedicated to providing fans with an inside look at the making of the event through the eyes of the creative teams responsible for pulling the 4-part event off.

Warner Bros. truly knocked it out of the park with its latest The Flash collection, making this a perfect addition to any fan’s home entertainment library and an absolute must-have!
