Treasure Quest exclusive clip: Discovery of the golden cloth
Shawn and Jeremy have their first find in Treasure Quest Season 2, Episode 11. As they head into the underground tunnel, they’re shocked to find a piece of golden cloth. Check out the exclusive clip of the find.
Treasure Quest is certainly turning up some exciting elements. We’ve had Inca defensive walls found that nobody knew about, the beginning of the tunnel to the treasure, and now the finding of a cart that would transport the treasure.
Shawn and Jeremy head into one of the tunnels this week, after the rover finds a wooden wheel from a cart. Sure enough, there’s more to find, including a piece of golden cloth. It’s clear from the cart that this was likely from the Jesuits and now they have their first real discovery of the treasure.

Seeing the looks on their faces when they come across the treasure is awesome. It’s clear that while they wanted to find this treasure, they were ready for some disappointment. Seeing the golden cloth is inspiring and exciting for the two.
We do get a good look at the cloth in the Treasure Quest exclusive clip below. While it would have been amazing to see it in the 15th and 16th centuries, it’s still possible to see the attention to detail and the exquisite workmanship that went into creating it.

This episode isn’t all going to be full of discoveries though. Remember, they’re in an area that is highly dangerous from landslides and cave-ins. The group is about to realize that even more, as falling boulders start to threaten their dig site. If this continues, they could suffer a major landslide.
A landslide doesn’t just push their work behind. It puts the entire Treasure Quest crew at risk, especially those in the tunnel at the very moment.
