Grey’s Anatomy: 15 greatest doctors of all-time

Greatest Grey’s Anatomy Doctors – No. 13: Dr. Nicole Herman
A student is only as good as her teacher. Arizona is a brilliant fetal surgeon, but she wouldn’t be if it wasn’t for Dr. Nicole Herman.
It was difficult to like Nicole at first. This was a doctor who was stern with her students, but kind, fun, and stubborn when it came to friends, her patients and her work. She was also an absolutely brilliant surgeon with a world of knowledge in her head.
It soon became clear that she wasn’t just being mean for the sake of it. She had a secret in the form of a brain tumor she was sure couldn’t be operated on and she wanted to make sure her wealth of knowledge would be passed on to someone, and that someone was Arizona.
Once that storyline was over, it was clear this would be a doctor worth remembering. After all, Nicole operated on humans before they were even born. She would go through some of the riskiest surgeries with calm and confidence. Her weakness was not being able to put the mothers at ease, something Arizona was far better at doing.
However, Herman still deserves to be on this list. If it wasn’t for her, Arizona wouldn’t have specialized in a secondary field and become the doctor she is now. Plus, Herman gave Arizona a new path that led her to New York.
