We’re getting closer to the end of Treasure Quest and you can tell with the massive find this week. When the metal detectors go off, the team start digging to find what it is. At first, it looks small but then they realize that it wasn’t the right item. What do they find in this week’s Treasure Quest exclusive clip?
It’s been a long journey. We’ve had Inca walls found, tunnels discovered, and the origins of the treasure located. Now it’s time to find more of this Jesuit treasure that has been hiding for centuries.

When the metal detectors go off, the Treasure Quest team stop to see what it is. They instantly find something small, which could likely be a drinking bowl or small grain/herb bowl from the Inca period. Definitely not the item that set off the metal detectors, the team continue to dig–with their hands, I’ll point out!
What do they find? This is something you need to watch the clip below to find out. I don’t want to spoil this exciting find but it is massive.

It’s still not entirely clear what it is, but at first, it looks like it could be a canon. My theory is that it looks a little like a bell, which would explain the handle at the top. There’s certainly a cross on the side, which could link the bell to the Jesuit treasure. We’ll have to wait for the episode to find out exactly what their massive discovery is, but this is super exciting.
