The Conners season 1, episode 2: What do these pictures mean?

ABC released stills for The Conners, season 1, episode 2, Tangled Up in Blue. What could the images mean for the episode? Let’s break down the possibilities.
When I watched the series premiere of The Conners season 1, they did a great job with handling Roseanne’s death. It had both humor and emotion. Sara Gilbert and John Goodman also gave amazing performances, and Laurie Metcalf had superior acting skills in the pilot. The ratings were decent considering the fallout between Roseanne Barr and ABC.
The next episode is premiering Tuesday. Judging by the episode’s name, “Tangled Up in Blue,” and the stills below, this next episode looks very interesting. Drama is certainly going to unfold since Darlene will finally meet the mysterious crayon. Well, Darlene can now say Blue.
As you can see in the image below, she’s NOT having it.
The next photo shows we’ll now be meeting Justin Long’s (Neil) character meet Darlene, and he’ll play the love interest. We’ll be seeing Neil frequently as Justin signed on for a recurring role on The Conners.
Neil shows up at the Mexican restaurant where Becky works as a waitress, and she looks curious. I wonder how this will all go down. But one thing is for sure: Darlene appears happy so she may like him.
We see Becky, Jackie, and Darlene all happy which appears after Darlene meets Neil. It seems they’re all happy for Darlene wanting to date him, and she herself looks like she may have found her love interest.

In the other three stills, you see Dan is upset with Becky, followed by Dan hugging her. Something must have happened there as it appears they must have made up afterward. D.J. is also there. It seems they were discussing something.
We see Blue and Darlene at a parent-teacher conference, and we can assume that Blue is the teacher of her son, Mark, which shocks Darlene. I’m sure it’ll be revealed later on during the episode that, BluHell is about to break loose between David and Darlene.
