Big Brother All-Stars 2: Dynamic duos could be an interesting idea
By Ryan Gamble
Big Brother All-Stars 2 is something a lot of fans have wanted to see for years, but it’s important to point out that CBS has not confirmed it would ever happen. Host Julie Chen has hinted that she would love to see it, though.
Even as the new season of Celebrity Big Brother draws closer, it’s never too early to talk about what Big Brother All-Stars 2 could look like on CBS. One possible idea could be to bring back the dynamic duos twist. It was very successful with the BB13 cast and might be a theme that producers should look at for a future season.
How would dynamic duos work?
Using a theme of duos, two houseguests would compete as one. If one wins the Head of Household Competition, they share the HOH. But they are also at risk of being nominated as a duo, with the chance to save themselves at the weekly Veto Competition.
During the really fun BB13 season, a version of the dynamic duos was used. Veterans like Rachel Reilly and Jordan Lloyd were brought back, teaming up with their significant others (Brendon Villegas and Jeff Schroeder) at the time. It could get used again, especially with how well a lot of pairs have worked together in past years.

Potential Big Brother All-Stars 2 duos
How about a season of the show where Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson are on one team, a second team is Angela Rummans and Tyler Crispen, and a third team is Paul Abrahamian and Josh Martinez. They could even have a duo of Derrick Levasseur and Cody Calafiore. Can Derrick find success on the show now that everyone knows his strategies and background?
There are a lot of additional pairings that could be brought back from the wide selection of seasons since the last All-Stars cast was inside the BB house. How about Dan Gheesling and Ian Terry? Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo could be exciting. What about sisters Vanessa Rousso and Tiffany Rousso teaming up? Maybe sisters Alex Willett and Morgan Willett can come over from Big Brother: Over the Top?
There are a lot of fans who would love to see another season with some of the best houseguests in the history of the show competing for a title. Some viewers love seeing new houseguests each summer, but if Big Brother All-Stars 2 was done right, it could turn into one of the most entertaining seasons the show has ever had.
