When does Grey’s Anatomy come back in 2019?

Our favorite TGIT series is on break right now which just will not do. What else am I supposed to watch in the meantime? When does Grey’s Anatomy come back in 2019?
While some TV shows are only just getting around to airing their fall finales, Grey’s Anatomy got theirs out of the way pretty quickly and aired their fall finale several weeks ago. Because of this, I have struggled to get my weekly TGIT fix so am I asking, as I am sure you are too, when does Grey’s Anatomy come back in 2019?
Unfortunately, we have no official fate from the network. ABC is still to release their 2019 release dates for almost all of their shows. The odd one or two have announced when they will be back, but not Grey’s Anatomy or any of the other Shonda Rhimes series.

All we have right now is some good old speculation. And that’s what we are going to do today. Because I need something to pass the drought-anatomy. Let’s speculate when Grey’s Anatomy will be back in 2019.
If we base things of last year, then we are looking at an end of January release date. All of Shonda Rhimes shows were confirmed with a return date of Jan. 18 this time last year. So in and around then would be a good starting point.
There is always a chance that it could a bit later. Scheduling conflicts and last minute changes happen. So at the latest, I would say early February 2019.
It’s not uncommon for ABC to withhold their release dates this long. This time last year we didn’t know when Grey’s Anatomy would be back until the beginning of January. So while this is frustrating for all, especially for me, this has happened before.
As soon as I hear when exactly the show will be back. I will be sure to let you know.
