Sons of Anarchy is no longer streaming on Netflix, and don’t expect Mayans M.C. to be available there, either. Here’s why…

The streaming giant has quietly let Sons of Anarchy go. If you opened Netflix to binge-watch SAMCRO and couldn’t find it anywhere, that’s why. Hoping FX’s latest hit series Mayans M.C. to join the Netflix club now that Season 1 is over? Sorry to say the Mayans won’t go to the streaming service, either.

Just like when Netflix shockingly dropped Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil, no reason was given for the move to take out Sons of Anarchy. But SAMCRO and Mayans creator Kurt Sutter took to Twitter to address his fans about it.

Read his tweets, below:

According to Sutter, the Disney/Fox deal is more complicated than it seems. It’s simply how business works. But there are still places we can tune in to re-watch both Sons of Anarchy and Mayans M.C.:

Sutter’s right, it is wack. Ever since Netflix changed the game for streaming TV and movie content, every network has been jumping on the idea.

More from FX

While the Disney + streaming service will be delivering shows and movies we can’t wait to watch, it has also been tough to accept it. Netflix used to be our go-to source for Disney content. Letting Luke Cage and Matt Murdock go was not easy.

It’s highly unlikely the Netflix-Marvel Universe will be rebooted on Disney +. And even if the shows do go there by some miracle, the same cast won’t star.

To that, we say, give us Charlie Cox, Mike Colter, Krysten Ritter, Jon Bernthal or we don’t want it!

Besides FX NOW, Hulu, and Amazon, you can also buy one of the collector sets for Sons of Anarchy on Blu-ray to keep forever! Where do you plan to re-watch Season 1 of Mayans M.C. and the entire series of SOA now?

Are you currently subscribed to Netflix or Hulu? Do you plan on signing up for Disney +?
