25 best Christmas movies countdown #6: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
By Sandy C.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is one of the most popular Christmas movies of all-time, it’s #6 on our 25 best Christmas movies countdown!
You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch! From the lyrics to the big, mean, green character Grinch, everything about the How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie and stories is recognized worldwide. It’s a very popular story that has been told various times, both in animated features and live action movies and specials. Which version of Grinch is your favorite?
For this countdown, we don’t have any one in mind. It can be the first animated story or Jim Carrey’s take. Because when it comes down to it, they all have a strong and beautiful message about the meaning of Christmas.
Each movie is special in its own way. After all, the story is based on a children’s book, so not many details or character back stories were offered, so each film added these missing details and created new ones. One thing that stayed the same in all of them is the character Cindy Lou Who and, of course, the Grinch.
