HBO Now is one of the best subscriptions for movie and TV fans out there. Here are 5 reasons why…

First and foremost, let it be known that our love for HBO Now is genuine and real! This isn’t a promo!

Nowadays, it seems every network and movie company has or wants their own subscription service. It proves just how much Netflix has changed the game for TV and movie content. Before you rush out and subscribe to them all, or decide you don’t want any, know that there are a few out there to consider.

Netflix is one of our favorites, hands down, but HBO Now is just as amazing and here’s why!

#1 Easy to use

While others may not save what you were viewing last and you sometimes find yourself having to search for a specific show, with HBO Now, there are now worries. The categories are simple and ready to be selected.

At the top, you’ll find “Watchlist,” where you can add your favorite shows and/or movies you want to be on the lookout for and have handy. Underneath, there’s Home, where new shows, updates, and the hottest series will be for you to always stay up to date with what’s trending.

Then, all HBO content is divided into categories: Series, Movies, Kids, Comedy, Sports, Documentaries, and Collections.

It’s self-explanatory, but Collections is pretty neat! It automatically groups together a collection of movies or shows into categories such as “Last Chance: Movies Leaving This Month,” “Movies Worth Staying In For,” and “That’s So 90s Movies That Defined a Decade.” There’s even a collection for Game of Thrones, titled “Most Shocking Moments,” and boy are they ever!

#2 Movies

HBO is quick to get the rights to stream the biggest movies at the box office, and the company is great about bringing back old, classic favorites, as well. Some of these include The Blind Side, There’s Something About Mary, Goodfellas, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Hit movies include It and Wonder Woman. All movies are separated by their genre, or check them all in alphabetical order for your convenience.

#3 Content for kids

Need something to keep the kids distracted? HBO Now is here for you! There is, of course, tons of Sesame Street content. From episodes, musicals, to the best of Elmo. Many of the best children movies and TV shows are also included, such as Paddington 2, A Little Curious, and Ferdinand.

 #4 Game of Thrones

Let’s be honest, Game of Thrones alone is a reason to get HBO Now. Binge-watch every season, every episode at HBO Now, before the new season premieres! And when the new, final episodes do arrive, watch them on HBO Now, too! New episode stream at the same time as live TV.

#5 Groundbreaking shows

Even if you’re only subscribed while you wait for Game of Thrones to arrive, there are plenty of reasons to keep you around and watch while you wait. True Detective, Sharp Objects, Camping, Westworld, and High Maintenance (just to name a few) are groundbreaking shows you won’t regret watching.
