When a convenience store was held up by two armed men, Officer Nolan, and Officer Bishop responded. The two men fled in opposite directions, forcing both Nolan and Bishop to split up and pursue them.
After a heated foot chase, Nolan cornered the armed gunman who turned his weapon on Nolan. It was the wrong move to make, as Nolan already had his weapon out and aimed. He dropped him there and then, which instantly began the process of whther or not Nolan was right to do so.
An internal investigation began, which, while being standard procedure when something like this happens, was still a tense process for everyone. At the end of the day, Nolan was sent home to await the verdict.
However, while at home, the second gunman, who at this point had been released on bail, had broken into Nolan’s home to get revenge for his fellow criminal, who was also his brother. The episode ended with the two of the grappling with one another and a single gunshot being fired.
Also in the episode. Officer Bishop helped out the narcotics task force in a drug sting, which involved the use of a CI, Officer Bradford’s wife. It ended with the sting being a complete bust, and Officer Bradford’s wife being taken, hostage.
