Box Office Mojo has released the top 10 movies of the weekend, and there’s a lot of variety! Let’s take a look…

Which movie did you catch in theaters this weekend? There seems to be something for every moviegoer at the moment. From mysteries, drama, and even anime. The new debuts were Glass and Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The winner? Glass, of course, but that doesn’t mean Dragon Ball Super: Broly didn’t pack a punch.

After several misses, M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass has finally broken to the top of the weekend countdown. The film, a sequel to Split and Unbreakable, didn’t meet early expectations, but did accumulate $40.5 million to claim the top spot. Glass stars James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Sarah Paulson, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly follows behind Glass with a powerful $10.6 million, taking up third place. In between the two movies is The Upside. Broly‘s total is even more impressive when you consider it only screened in 467 theaters nationwide. This means each theater attracted over $22 thousand, a lot more than Glass.
