Shameless Season 9, Episode 8 preview: Fiona spirals downward, Lip glows upward

In the midseason premiere of Shameless, Fiona continues self-destructing while Tami teaches Lip who to be an adult and Frank connects with Ingrid.

The Gallaghers are finally back with the seven remaining episodes of Shameless Season 9, and while we’re all cracking away at our new year’s resolutions, the same can’t be said about a few select members of the Gallagher clan. Unless you’ve repressed these painful memories, when we last left Fiona, she met up with her old friend rock bottom, and it appears she’ll be hanging around for longer than she’s welcome. Money, love, and life have Fiona committed to a downward spiral.

However, it’s not all bad news for the Gallaghers in the first episode of Shameless of 2019. Lip might have found the swift kick in the behind he needed with Tami. Although their relationship started out rather rocky, they are a weirdly matched odd couple, and Tami tries her best to exorcise the bad Gallagher habits out of Lip and teach him how to be an adult.

Meanwhile, Debbie picks up the slack needed at home with Fiona out of commission, and Frank helps Ingrid tick off a lifelong dream from her bucket list. Why does that already sound illegal?
