The Magicians Season 4, Episode 2 advance preview: Will Marina reverse Dean Fogg’s spell?

Dean Fogg has cast a spell on his students to protect them. Will Marina figure out a way to reverse it? Will it be up to someone else on The Magicians Season 4, Episode 2?

The Magicians Season 4 is wasting no time in getting to the nitty gritty storylines. After meeting each of the glamours in the premiere, Episode 2 is going to see if Marina can reverse the spell. Considering Dean Fogg cast it to protect his favorite students (well, the ones who have stepped up to save magic and the world!), it’s not going to be that easy.

The last episode gave us a chance to meet who the characters were as glamours. Marina knew there were other people behind those glamours and she used magic in an attempt to figure out who they were. That didn’t quite go to plan and we were left with Margo/Janet suddenly thrust into Fillory thanks to Ember.

Now what? Well, Marina isn’t going to give up. She knows that Dean Fogg is behind it, and we know there’s no love lost there. Granted, this isn’t the same Marina that we knew, but there certainly isn’t much that differs. She’s still a hedge witch and constantly looking out for herself.

The question is whether she’ll be able to reverse Fogg’s spell. Plus, if magic is rationed each day, how is Fogg keeping up this spell? Will she be able to figure that one out or will someone else be the one to crack the code?

While that happens, Janet has to figure out what’s going on in Fillory while Alice tries to work out a way out of the Library. Just a normal day in the office for The Magicians then, right?
