Joey Lawrence exit interview: Tamar Braxton ‘is definitely running the house’

Joey Lawrence was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house and he gave an extended interview about his time in the game.

Actor Joey Lawrence finished eighth place on Celebrity Big Brother 2. When the season started, he was opposed to joining alliances, which put him in a difficult position to actually win the game. He figured out the importance of playing the game with other people too late, which is why his 6-0 eviction during the February 2 episode was a bit expected.

As shown in the video below, Joey remained pretty upbeat about his experience on the show, even after it had come to an end. He spoke about his feelings and stated that the strategy to win the game was to “be kind” to the other houseguests. He also referenced Marissa Jaret Winokur, who won the 2018 Celebrity Big Brother season, in the video below.

There were a lot of notable things that Joey said in his interview with Entertainment Tonight. One topic he touched on was Lolo Jones, who he said is a “hot head” and tried to bait him into an argument about his manhood.

A lot of the discussion in the interview turned to Tamar Braxton. While Joey said that “her energy is a lot to handle,” he also stated that Tamar “is definitely running the house.” When asked about how, on the show, it looked like Lolo and Natalie Eva Marie were running things, Joey was adamant that it is Tamar running this show.

When does Joey return on Celebrity Big Brother schedule?

Fans of Joey Lawrence will get to see him again this season, as he will be on stage for the season finale. According to the CBS schedule, that takes place on Wednesday, February 13. This is when the Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner will get decided by the house jury.

Eight houseguests are left competing for the $250,000 cash prize this season. Each one of them wants to be named the Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner, for which Joey Lawrence will have a vote when Julie Chen Moonves hosts the season finale.
