Temptation Island Season 1, Episode 7: Emotions explode.

All bets are off for Temptation Island. The deed has been done, and lines have been crossed. Now it’s time for unburdened debauchery.

Despite burying her head in the sand, everyone including Kaci knows something went down. They know things are escalating with the guys and the female singles. Temptation Island is now less about temptation, and more about revenge.

Let’s also no forget the fact John and Kady are well on their way to a break up. She’s basically called him worthless since the previews, and all he was waiting for was a slip up on her behalf. Consider Dr. John’s hand on her derriere the slip.

Post-bonfire

Kaci is hysterical, despite not even seeing it. If she actually watched it, she might leave the show.  She thinks Evan won’t get anything back if he takes it too far. If. LOL.

Meanwhile, John is shocked about Kady’s indiscretions. He doesn’t want a weak woman. Evan takes offense to this, because it basically makes him believe they consider him weak. Never a smooth talker or quick thinker, John poorly backtracks the comment, but Evan is still offended.

Well, well, well. Look who is comforting John after he found out about Kady finding a new John, model 2.0.

Date time!

The women

• Nicole chooses Tyler for the third time! They get a couples massage, and discuss the show while the massage therapists hold in the urge to scream “STFU” like Lewis Black.
• Kady chooses Dr. John. Shocker. She’s “happy and warm and fuzzy.” They kiss awkwardly on the beach.
• Kaci chooses Luna because he’s got a good vibe. Unfortunately, Luna is going with the single shoulder strap overall look from 1995.
• Shari chooses Justin, because they both have difficulty opening up. Justin uses the opportunity to take a huge dump on Javen. There is some serious game being used on this date.

The men

• Karl chooses Brittney. She’s really supportive, and the date is romantic. He’s itching for her to make the first move and make his decision easier. They watch the moon in the distance and she says she’s going to sneak into his bed later that night.
• John chooses Hannah! Looks like her comfort spoke to him.
• Evan chooses Morgan, by default. They snorkel, and make out while snorkeling. Then sit on the beach, and make out there. It’s all slow-mo and moaning music like a Nicholas Sparks movie.
• Javen chooses Erica for a second time. He likes her a little bit, and she’s slightly feisty. But they don’t mesh well, despite what he tells himself.

Post dates

Brittney convinces Karl to go to bed. To sleep. He’s weakening.

Similarly, Katheryn senses John’s weakness like a hyena senses a lame gazelle on the Serengeti. Meanwhile, Kady is between Wynn and Dr. John. Considering the theme of the show, it shouldn’t be shocking. What is shocking, however, is the late-night knock on Kady’s door from Wynn when everyone on the island knows she’s in there being kissed and groped by Dr. John.

Videos are sent!

Karl sends his video to Nicole and tells him he’s a little upset, but still loves her a lot. Immediately defensive, Nicole says he should be more introspective than judgmental. Her video to him calls their relationship “surface level,” and he agrees.

No video from Evan. He’s the only guy who didn’t send one. Believing her message will change things and make them more real for him, Kaci sends a really teary, neurotic, manipulative message to Evan that makes him doubt things.

Javen’s message to Shari is odd, but positive. He doesn’t profess his love, but speaks to the growth with which she agrees. Her video is a similar message of growth, with tons of love and pep. In fact, she’s more loving than even on the first episode.

Ouch. John sent a heartfelt message in which he cried, and led to her tears. Additionally, he admitted to being hurt because of what he’s seen. No video from Kady leaves him with three possibilities: she’s guilty, she’s angry, or she likes Dr. John a lot.

The funniest part of all this is how John says Kady is weak, and dogs her for her moves, but each word cuts like a knife into Evan.
