The Magicians has never been afraid to revisit a storyline from a previous season. It’s never been afraid to focus on one little clue given in the past of a major threat on its way. And that’s what happens in Season 4, Episode 6, titled “A Timeline and Place.”

Remember that Penny and Marina aren’t from Timeline 40. There was a mention that them jumping into this new timeline could be a problem but that’s never been discussed. Now it’s time to look at what that problem could be.
In the last episode, Penny was drugged. Now it’s time to find out who did it and why. Oh, and in the process of the episode, we get to visit another timeline where it’s more like Nineteen Eighty-Four and The Crucible mixed together.
Meanwhile, Margo tries to help Fillory once more. That means drinking some odd milk as a way to make a bargain because nuking the place just isn’t an option!
For those who are more interested with Alice’s storyline, she meets a magician who is only just learning about her powers. This magician will help to release some of the ambient magic that the Library is controlling but how long will that last? We’ll have to wait and see!
