For many, Disney movies hold a special place in their heart. Whether it be classics or modern films, Disney has a huge catalog but these 30 are their best.

Everyone has a favorite Disney movie. Even if you haven’t watched any Disney movies in years, no doubt there is one that you love and appreciate. Disney has been creating movies since the 1930s and each decade has brought the company to new heights. Whether a viewer is young or old, Disney makes magical films that captivate an audience.

Thankfully, Disney has a huge catalog of films to choose from. If you’re into more classic films, they have Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Sleeping Beauty or Dumbo. Many favorite films come from the Disney Renaissance including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King. Disney’s new era is full of gems as well: Big Hero 6, Moana and Tangled to name a few.

With over 50 animated films to their name, an extensive live-action classics catalog, and reboots on the way, it’s safe to say the movie world owes a lot to Disney. With such a huge body of work, there’s no denying the quality films Disney has produced over the years. Even some of the films from their “dark age” are better than films produced by competing studios.

Keeping their huge catalog in mind, it’s time to narrow down the best of the best. Which Disney movies are truly the company’s best?
