Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 16: What do Stay With Me sneak peeks reveal?
In two sneak-peeks for Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 16, Clary tries to convince Jace of a risky plan to summon Lilith, and Simon teaches Isabelle about the sanctity of a pinky-promise as they vow to *not* fall in love.
Two new sneak peeks for Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 16, “Stay With Me,” have been released by Freeform, and they give us an inside look into the upcoming episode (that’s bound to give us all the feels). We learned from the episode trailer that Clary, Jace, Simon and Isabelle would be working together to help separate Clary and Jonathan, and we could see what looked like a demon summoning spell inside of a Malachi configuration that would potentially keep the demon trapped once summoned.
Because of photos showing Lilith on her throne in Edom (Khaleesi who?) and reuniting with Jonathan, we had a feeling that the demon they’d try to summon would be Lilith herself. Thanks to a new sneak peek from Freeform, that theory is all but confirmed as Clary tells Jace the Silent Brothers weren’t able to help her and tries to convince him that their best plan would be to talk with Lilith.

In the second sneak peek from “Stay With Me,” we see that Simon and Isabelle are back in the New York subway, likely on some kind of mission together, but the conversation turns to what happened with Raphael, leading Isabelle to tell Simon that she’s not sure if she wants love in her life at all. Simon confides in her as well, saying that he can’t seem to make a relationship work out in his life either. He offers up his pinky finger to make a pact with her to be single forever (good luck with that, kids), but he needs to give Izzy a quick lesson on the sanctity of a pinky promise before she decides whether to commit to the promise. But the whole scenario is only making us ship #Sizzy harder…
