24. Grey Worm

The role he’d take: Lord Commander

Why he’d be worthy: There is only one role you would want Grey Worm in. The leader of the Unsullied is one of the best tactical minds within the whole of Game of Thrones. So why is he at the bottom of this list? Well, I’ll get to that in the minute.

When it comes to tactics and loyalty, you need Grey Worm. He would help to defeat any army. The Unsullied don’t believe in fear, with it being beaten out of them. They have their mission in mind and will fight to the death. Grey Worm shows that throughout every battle scene.

Yet, there is a weakness to him. That weakness is being part of the Unsullied. Despite Daenerys freeing the men, part of them will still be in the mind of being slaves. It’s difficult to get out of that mindset after being in it for so long. If Daenerys was to die, it would be interesting to see how the Unsullied manage and whether Grey Worm would be able to lead them.

Will they remain loyal to the next monarch? Could they end up divided? It’s because of these unknown questions that push Grey Worm to the bottom of this list. His positives as Commander of the Unsullied could make him too weak to be Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
