A dude’s Vanderpump Rules power ranking: Season 7, Episode 19
By Josh Tyler
On last night’s Vanderpump Rules, we got some emotional one on ones, therapy sessions, and an honest to God exorcism. But who did the best and worst in our power rankings?
Previously on Vanderpump Rules, the gang returned from Mexico to an open TomToms. Raquel tried to invite everyone to a party for her and James’s puppy but everyone turned it down, and James’s check to buy into TomToms bounced. How will everyone fare on tonight’s episode?
12. Jax (last week’s ranking: 12)
In this episode, we catch up with Jax and Brittany in couple’s therapy, which is where we got to see Jax Taylor at his finest. The mental gymnastics that this guy can perform are simply perfection.
First, when Brittany tells him that she feels insecure because he tends to yell at her for things that aren’t her fault, he completely deflects. When she finally forces him to admit that yes, he does do this sometimes, he says that he is just venting his frustrations and she happens to be in the way. Yeah, that’s not psychotic at all.

He continues to insist to his therapist, to Brittany, and to us that he is a work in progress, he’s making an effort to change, blah blah blah. I’ll remind everyone again that this dude is almost 40. Do you know that saying of “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” Jax?
Finally, he shocks everyone by says that his cheating on Brittany actually made her stronger. Not like he did her a favor (even he isn’t that delusional) but just that it made her tougher and helped solidify that relationship. I mean, yeah, I guess in a “you have to put a steel sword in a forge to make it stronger” kind of way, but I bet that still wasn’t a pleasant experience for the steel.
