The first episode of the final Game of Thrones season raised a ton of questions. Most importantly, however, WTF is up with Bran?

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched the first episode of Game of Thrones this season, then you’re seriously missing out. Having said that, this post will contain spoilers. So if you’re planning on waiting to binge the entire season on a streaming service, bail out now.

We all know Bran is now the Three-Eyed Raven, or as I’ve been calling him: Three-Eyed Bran (3EB). He knows the entire history of the world, from beginning to end, and will likely become a key component to defeating the White Walkers. The only problem is, he’s creepy AF right now, and putting off some serious stalker vibes.

Bran is unfortunately in a wheelchair as a result of his involuntary BASE jump accident as a kid. So it’s not like he has the option to go stomping around everywhere, making his presence known. But that also doesn’t mean he should be creeping up on everyone as silently and slowly as possible. Nobody needs to see Bran just as they’re exiting the outhouse or the brothel. We don’t need that pressure, Bran!

Side note: How exactly is he sloshing through the slop and mud of Winterfell in this thing? He’s a pretty fragile, little dude. Is he warging into random people to move him around? Or do his powers turn him into Professor X of Westeros?

Take for instance how he ruined Jon Snow’s reunion with family, and Daenerys’s introduction. “Yeah, enough of that. Y’all ever heard of zombie dragons burning down the Wall? Cuz it happened.” And when he crept up on Sam was just plain dirty. Ignore the fact Sam just got informed his father and brother are dead – and 3EB knew this – he still approached Sam as quietly as possible to let him know, “Hey, you have to tell Jon he’s neither a Snow nor a Stark. Well, kinda. He’s a Stark, but also a Targaryen. And bedding his Aunt. What I’m trying to say is, I’m not doing it. Don’t make me warg into you and tell him. KTHXBYE.”

How he stalked Jaime’s entrance is yet another example of him just being extremely creepy. How long was he sitting there waiting on Jaime to arrive? Just so he could engage in a staring contest? Why not send a raven if you know Jaime is coming? Furthermore, if you know everything, why not provide some intel that might help?

To be fair, he was weird the minute he got back to Winterfell in season 7. There’s no other way to explain how he hugged Sansa, confused the hell out of her with the Three-Eyed Raven talk, then basically said “sorry you got raped on your wedding night.” Have some tact, bro.
