After starting the season strong with a live Expedition Unknown in Egypt, the team is heading to the Akapana Pyramid in Bolivia. Josh Gates explores what could be the ancient equivalent of the Burning Man in tonight’s all-new episode and you can start your exploration in this week’s exclusive clip?

Thought pyramids were only found in Egypt? This is where you’ll start to learn something new about the physical structures. But this isn’t a place for the dead. The Bolivian Akapana Pyramid is now a ruin but there are some intriguing elements to one of the sites.

In the exclusive peek, Gates takes us to the “H Blocks” and you’ll certainly understand why they’re called that when you check out the clip. The blocks all fit together with some well crafted and thought out nooks and crannies. However, that’s not all Gates will find.

The episode will get “weirder and weirder,” as Gates shares some of the items that have been found by archeologists over the years around the site. These items give us a clue as to what the areas were used for once upon a time. You’ll start to think you’re at Burning Man for sure!
