Season 1, Episode 6 of The Perfectionists cleared someone’s name and presented a new suspect. Now I’ve got 7 new questions I’m dying to get answered.

This week’s episode of The Perfectionists is all about the aftermath of Caitlin’s almost-death. She’s in recovery in the hospital contending with parental issues (we finally meet one of her moms!) while Ava and Dylan team-up to get to the bottom of the Mason problem. Here’s our 7 biggest questions from the episode.

7. Is Zach the Lucas of The Perfectionists?

I mean he’s a random new character who has major beef with Ava although I could easily see their relationship potentially becoming romantic down the line. It’s a little bit similar to the Hanna/Lucas dynamic in Pretty Little Liars.

Zach’s issues with Ava stem from the fact her father stole his family’s life savings aka his entire inheritance and college fund. Ouch. I can’t exactly blame him for being upset, however, Ava is not her father and doesn’t deserve to suffer for his sins. I hope Ava gets the chance to set Zach right in the episodes to come.

6. Couldn’t Mason have found a better way to apologize to Caitlin?

Dude, the best way to announce you’re innocent is NOT by lurking in the dark recesses of someone’s hospital room like a serial killer! I get that Caitlin was suspicious of him and there wasn’t a huge chance she would have listened to him but acting like Michael Meyers sends the wrong message. A phone call might have sufficed.

Anyways, apparently Mason is innocent. I think we all suspected that. Unless it turns out to be a fake-out. For now, I’m satisfied with Mason’s alibi. I never believed he was behind killing Nolan to begin with, although he does have a good motive since he admits multiple times he wanted to have a taste of Nolan’s social power.

5. Who stole Nolan’s box of secrets?

Mason’s innocence does lead me to the next logical question: He claims everything he knew was because Nolan told him, that he has no idea what Caitlin is talking about when she mentions the missing box. If that’s the case, then who took it? My money is still on Zoey!
