Supergirl returns with a new episode tonight titled “American Dreamer.” Here’s what to expect from the episode and how you can watch it online.

Supergirl is still public enemy number one and this week’s episode will give us a better look at one of the other heroes. Without Supergirl in the limelight, it looks like Dreamer is going to be the one who steps up. We’ve mostly seen her in action in brief spurts due to the nature of her powers.

With Supergirl taking a step back, we’ll spend more time with Kara, which is something that started with last week’s episode when she put her journalist hat back on. Now that she has someone in the prison who is willing to talk, she has a story to chase after that could help bring Lex down (again).

We’ll also continue to see how James tries to relieve his PTSD, but I’m not expecting it to be something that only lasts for a few episodes and just goes away. That would be a disservice to the story, and it is too important of a subject to have that happen anyway.
