Things are going from bad to worse on Good Girls Season 2, Episode 9. Here’s a look at the major takeaways for the penultimate episode of the season.

Can you believe that this was the penultimate episode of Good Girls Season 2? Thankfully, there is definitely a third season. I get the feeling that we’re going to need it. Episode 9 set things up to go from bad to worse.

More from NBC

With Stan arrested, Ruby needed cash to bail him out. However, not everyone is happy that he’s been bailed out and is back at home – and I’m not talking about Agent Turner. Meanwhile, Annie’s relationship with Noah starts to get more serious and Beth decides she’s going to fight for her family.

It’s time to delve into the major takeaways from the episode. Here are the five I found most important for the Good Girls Season 2 finale next week.

5. Sara isn’t happy about Ruby posting bail

The episode opened with Stan being arrested in front of his family. We knew it was coming from the promo for the episode, but it was hard watching Sara and Harry see this happen. However, the takeaway is in the next stage of this storyline.

Ruby spends the episode finding a way to get the money for her husband’s bail. Sara decides to question why her father has been arrested and whether he really did it. Of course, Ruby isn’t going to lie to her daughter and that leads to Sara believing her dad should remain in jail.

Oh, if only she knew exactly why Stan did what he did. And if only she knew that it was Ruby who broke the law first. The murderous look on Sara’s face when Stan is bailed out and back home makes it clear that she’s going to get up to something after this.
