iZombie Season 5 premiere recap: Tensions rise in Seattle
iZombie Season 5 brought nothing but laughs, Thug Brain, and Blaine up to his usual antics. And it was nothing but a spectacular way to start the final season.
There’s no doubt that tensions between humans and zombies are rising in the iZombie Season 5 premiere. Well, not all humans and zombies but many of them. With the wall still surrounding Seattle and the U.S. government wanting to write off the city, it was only a matter of time that zombies and humans would be at each other’s throats.

5. Liv smuggles in but will she smuggle out?
Liv — well, Renegade — is still smuggling people into the city. That’s not surprising considering Major made it clear that there would be no issues from Filmore Graves.
The person she sent someone out to smuggling in this week was a boy in an abusive foster home. However, things worked out a little difficult, as the boy wants to bring two other foster kids with him. He’s willing for all three to try to get into Seattle without the help of Renegade’s guy if he has to, but Renegade’s guy was a foster kid. He knows that where they are is worse than the risks of smuggling into a zombie city.
However, I’m more curious about Major’s storyline, which I feel will connect with Liv at some point. Major has started letting some humans out of the city, but only for medical needs. There’s a woman who was visiting Seattle when the wall went out and her husband and child are on the other side of the wall. Major refuses to let her leave.
So, it won’t be surprising if Liv realizes that humans are being forcibly separated. Is there a chance Liv will start smuggling people out as well as in?
