2. Jo tells Meredith what happened with her mother.

Finally, Jo opens up to someone about what she discovered during the visit with her mother. I think Meredith was the best person for her to talk to given the amount of trauma she’s gone through over the course of her life. Meredith gets to vent too, about Deluca, and her fear of saying “I love you” given everything that happened with Derek.

We get a nice, old-fashioned, rousing Meredith Grey speech to Jo. I hope this means Jo will slowly start to get back on track. I especially loved how Meredith ensured Jo understood how much she is valued. Alex wouldn’t be the same man we’ve come to know had he not loved Jo and been loved by her in return.

3. Teddy goes into labor.

I’m extremely frustrated by the fact Teddy has decided she’s, once again, in love with Owen. Enough that she’s willing to throw away her relationship with Koracick over it since she intends to tell Owen how she feels. Apparently, no one else illicits the kind of passion in her that Owen does. Amelia is officially out of the picture (for now) as she does seem to have moved on with Link and doesn’t appear bothered by Teddy’s outburst.

But will Owen choose Teddy? If he’s back on the Amelia train and this love triangle threatens to consume another season I may jump out a window. We’ll find out soon considering Teddy’s water breaks in the midst of her confession and she planned to tell Owen before their daughter was born!
