Celebrity Big Brother: Tamar Braxton interviewed by Kandi Burruss

Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner Tamar Braxton went on the YouTube show of Kandi Burruss and spoke about their friendship and experiences inside the BB house.

The Celebrity Big Brother house placed Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss in a difficult situation. The ladies didn’t like each other very much and had a lot of trepidation about competing during the same season of the show. As fate would have it, though, Tamar and Kandi ended up aligning and developing a true friendship.

From Celebrity Big Brother to Speak On It

Kandi Burruss has a YouTube show called Speak On It where she covers a variety of topics with guest stars. In her latest video, posted on the morning of May 29, she shares an interview she conducted with Tamar Braxton. The full video of that interview can be seen below.

The ladies talked about how they didn’t know what to expect from the situation and how they were each convinced that the other one would want them out of the game. That may have been the case early in the season, but they ended up setting aside their pre-season squabbles

Kandi called it a “life-changing year for the two of us” when opening the interview. She also showed a few clips from the CBS live feeds, which did make it seem like there was going to be a lot of drama between them during the season. Indeed there was, which is usually what happens inside the Big Brother house, but they worked through those difficult moments.

Tamar Braxton won Celebrity Big Brother 2

In a unanimous vote by the CBB2 jury, Tamar Braxton became the Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner. She beat out Ricky Williams on the season finale, aided by Kandi Burruss and the other alliance members she had made during the season. It was a surprising finish for many CBS viewers to witness, as Tamar had trouble doing well in most of the competitions that winter.

It’s great to see that Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss have been able to maintain their new friendship after the season came to an end. It certainly goes to show that getting locked in a house with people can force discussions to take place. Maybe that could even become a theme for Celebrity Big Brother 3.
