Diyoza and Octavia learn the truth

Who have Diyoza and Octavia been traveling with for so long? Well, this is Gabriel. That’s really not that surprising, to be honest, with everything that’s been going on.

However, he needs to figure out what this anomaly is all about. The problem is that the closer they get to the anomaly, the crazier everyone gets. If you thought the Red Sun was bad, just wait until you see what the anomaly does to the plants.

It’s all about memories for the group, and one of those memories deeply affects Octavia — one of Bellamy tied and gagged, on his knees ready for execution. Meanwhile, Diyoza sees images of a young girl calling out, “Mummy, help!” and Gabriel sees visions of Josephine.

Diyoza’s vision of the girl is the most dangerous. It leads to Diyoza running into the anomaly, and Octavia can’t help but follow inside. Octavia runs back out, healed from the old age. But Diyoza doesn’t return.

Bellamy and co. need to save Clarke

Now that they know Clarke is alive on The 100, Bellamy and co. need to figure out a plan to save her. They don’t want to get Emori involved believing that she’s working with Murphy. More on that part in a bit, though!

Madi believes she has a plan. Why not kill all the Primes? Of course, that would mean all the people of the Primes will turn on Wonkru, but she’s willing to kill them all. The others aren’t willing to do that though, even Echo. Echo is sure that this is an aggressive plan.

Most of them don’t want this. Jordan especially doesn’t. He wants to save Delila, who he thinks could still be alive.

It’s not surprising that Madi decides to go ahead with her own plan. Unfortunately, that leads to Jordan accidentally getting stabbed in the stomach.

Josephine takes drastic measures

When Josephine shares her intended plan with her father to nuke Clarke out and put herself back in the host, her father doesn’t really want to do that. After all, Clarke isn’t a willing host. Wouldn’t it be better to have someone willing to host Josephine? That will be possible with Abby’s plan to create more nightbloods.

Josephine isn’t happy with this idea. She wants Clarke’s body, so takes drastic measures. She only has 36 hours until the brain melts and wants Ryker and Murphy to get rid of Clarke from the mind. Emori, who Murphy proposes immortality to, agrees to help too.

When they realize they need one of the wrist bands to connect to the nervous system, Emori volunteers to go after it. At first, she wants to trick Bellamy into giving it to her but she eventually decides to tell the group the truth. They need to save Clarke immediately.

Finding out that Clarke is alive, Murphy also starts to have second thoughts. He may be a survivor, but Emori makes him want to be a better man. Killing Clarke willingly wouldn’t make him a better man. However, it’s not enough of a second thought, as he sides with Josephine when Emori runs and Bellamy and Echo show up.

It all looks like it will be for nothing. Wonkru may have the neurosurgeon they need and can shut down the radiation barrier, but Josephine grabs Murphy and holds a scalpel at his throat.

When the Primes learn that some of their own are dead by Madi’s hands, the sirens sound. An altercation takes place that leads to Josephine slashing Murphy’s leg close to the femoral artery. Echo manages to take down the radiation barrier long enough for Bellamy to get Josephine out.

It’s not surprising that Emori and Murphy are arrested.

Raven and Abby on opposing sides

With information about the mind drives, Abby makes the decision to turn people into nightbloods. She wants to bring Kane back but Raven doesn’t want to help with this. Raven knows that Kane would never want this.

Granted, Abby knows this, too. However, she has a way to bring him back and she’s taking it. This isn’t for her but for him — maybe for the world.

Of course, creating nightbloods means a trip out into space. That means asking Raven to take a spacewalk but she’s unwilling to do so.

When Abby decides to do the spacewalk herself, Raven knows that it will kill Abby. She doesn’t know how to do the spacewalks. So, Raven feels she should do it instead — she won’t let Abby die.

It all works and Kane is brought back. And just as we all knew, Kane isn’t happy to find out his mind has been put in someone else’s body.

Odds and ends:

  • Nobody is happy to hear that Russell jumped the line to put Josephine into Clarke
  • Jordan will get to stay alive for saving Delila’s new life force but the rest of Wonkru will be put on trial
