Big Little Lies Season 2, Episode 6 preview: Who is the bad mother?

In the penultimate episode of Big Little Lies Season 2, the Monterey Five continue to feel the pressure of Perry’s death as Bonnie considers freeing her guilt.
With two episodes left in the second season of Big Little Lies, it seems fingers are pointing within the Monterey Five with one of our mothers being dubbed “the bad mother.” Of course, Mary Louise could also be throwing barbs at Celeste and her friends (again) for sport. The season’s penultimate episode traces the mounting pressure for the group surrounding their lie about Perry’s death. As the scrutiny increases, Bonnie ponders the possibility of releasing her guilt.
On top of letting go of her guilt, Bonnie also contemplates how she could help her mother’s suffering, even in light of the revelations about the abuse Bonnie received at the hands of her mother. Unfortunately, helping her mother and getting rid of her guilt could spell trouble for the group. Meanwhile, Mary Louise blindsides Celeste, Ed catches Madeline with her guard down, and the truth about Corey and what he was doing at the police station will be revealed.
