5. A Discovery of Witches (2018 – present)
What it’s about: The show is a fantasy series based on the All Souls book series by Deborah Harkness. It focuses on a powerful, but reluctant witch named Diana Bishop. She finds a bewitched manuscript and is forced into the world of magic, and the danger that entails.

Matthew Clairmont, a handsome vampire, and geneticist comes to her aide and the two form an alliance, and over the course of the season something deeper blossoms between them.
Who is in it? Teresa Palmer plays the main role of Diana Bishop and Matthew Goode portrays Matthew Clairmont, her vampire love interest. Edward Bluemel, Louise Brealey, Malin Buska, Aiysha Hart, Owen Teale, Alex Kingston, Valerie Pettiford, Trevor Eve, and Lindsay Duncan also star.
